Value Added Distributors (VAD) is seeking a Controller for a full‑time, hybrid role based in De Pere, WI.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to manage large volumes of financial data accurately
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
High level of discretion with confidential information
General tech‑savviness and adaptability to new systems
Preferred Qualifications
CPA certification
Manufacturing experience
Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience
Exposure to audits
ERP system experience (Epicor is a plus)
Your Day as a Controller
As the Controller, you review financial data across multiple entities, guide your team through close activities, and ensure records remain accurate and compliant. You partner closely with operations and leadership to analyze variances, manage inventory accounting, WIP, fixed assets and job costing, strengthen internal controls, and serve as the primary liaison for external audits. Throughout the day you support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning, continually improving systems and processes through automation and efficiency initiatives, all while playing a critical role in supporting the company's continued growth.
