Our client is seeking an Operations Manager near Fairport, NY, to lead and coordinate essential roadway construction services. This role requires a professional with a background in civil construction to manage project scheduling, quality control, and field personnel. You will be responsible for expanding regional capabilities while ensuring all activities meet high standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:
Manage and coordinate the delivery of construction services, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maintain project profitability and production rates.
Team Management:
Directly supervise superintendents and field staff, overseeing essential personnel matters including recruiting, training, and performance management.
Project Scheduling:
Maintain a comprehensive schedule of operations and monitor the material supply chain to proactively prevent bottlenecks and ensure timely project completion.
Quality & Safety:
Enforce strict quality control standards across all crews and partner with safety teams to implement and sponsor a positive, compliant safety culture.
Stakeholder Relations:
Serve as a key liaison for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to nurture professional relationships and resolve urgent job-site issues.
Qualifications
Experience level: Experienced
Minimum 5 years of experience
