Job Title:
Network Engineer
Position Overview:
Serve as a hands-on network engineer supporting onsite implementation and operational troubleshooting for the tournament program, based at the International Broadcast Center. The role requires strong Cisco switching skills, structured troubleshooting, and customer-facing communications, including coverage outside standard business hours aligned to event operations.
Key responsibilities
Implement network configurations onsite by following provided configuration scripts; perform CLI configuration on Cisco Catalyst switches (L2/L3).
Troubleshoot LAN and Wi?Fi connectivity using OSI Layer 1-4 techniques; isolate and remediate incidents quickly.
Support and coordinate with adjacent teams/systems that may include Cisco Client, Palo Alto firewalls, and Windows DHCP.
Provide onsite support during nights/weekends as required by broadcast and stadium/event timelines (including potential stadium support as needed).
Communicate clearly with customer and partner teams; gather requirements, validate fixes, and provide status updates.
Required qualifications
CCNA-level networking capability (certification preferred).
Demonstrated experience configuring Cisco Catalyst switches via CLI and troubleshooting enterprise networks (LAN/Wi?Fi).
Familiarity with Cisco Client, Palo Alto firewalls, and Windows DHCP.
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment with time-sensitive operational demands.
Preferred qualifications
Experience supporting broadcast-center, high-availability, or mission-critical network operations.
Experience with structured change execution and validation testing during deployments.
