Job Description
The Central Office Administrative Assistant for Human Resources provides clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Department by managing recruitment processes, applicant tracking, and HRIS data. Supports new hire onboarding and compliance by processing employment documentation, screenings, system access, credentials, and records while assisting with career fairs, substitute onboarding, and ongoing HR operations.
This role requires complete professionalism, a customer service mindset, and a positive attitude. Applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a busy work area. Most importantly, applicants must be trustworthy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Full time
position will work 40 hours per week and includes benefits.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in administrative duties preferred. Must have knowledge of office procedures, keyboarding, office machines, and computer operations. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
Position Type:
Full-Time (8 Hour Day/40 Hour Week)
Salary:
$17.31 to $21.85 Hourly
Pay Scale: Hourly / Lane G
