They are looking for a Business Analyst with Oracle Superuser experience. Also known as the root user.

6 months Temp-to-Perm

Must live in Nashville to come into office as needed, mostly remote

Must be Citizen, Green Card holder or EAD

Scope of Work

:

This position will provide primary application and functional/technical

User support for the

Procurement module

in

Oracle R12 (current state)

and

Oracle Cloud (future state)

as well as backup support for

financial modules

in Oracle R12 (current state) and Oracle Cloud (future state).

Perform application troubleshooting, patch testing, and application testing, including the development of test plans and test cases
Prepare Requirement Analysis and Solution Design documents as directed
Attend all requirements gathering sessions to understand business requirements of current state vs future state

Procurement and financial modules
Provide 1st or 2nd level support for application and/or process issues
Perform application functional user and process flow documentation
Provide primary production support for

Procurement modules in Oracle R12 (current state ) and

Oracle Cloud (future state)

and backup support of

Financial modules

such as (Expense, Projects, and Grants, CPMS, etc.)
An Oracle Cloud ERP super user (root) is an end-user with deep system knowledge who acts as a primary point of contact for other users,

bridging the gap between business and IT , and often performs administrative or elevated-access tasks such as system configuration, adding business units, or managing user roles. They have elevated privileges assigned through specific roles within the ERP system, allowing them to perform functions beyond those of regular users, like unlocking objects or modifying workspaces.

Key Characteristics and Responsibilities

Business-IT Bridge:
They understand both the technical aspects of Oracle Cloud ERP and the business processes, translating technical jargon into business terms.

Deep System Knowledge:
They are extensively trained in the ERP system and have a knack for technology, enabling them to troubleshoot and provide in-depth support.

Administrative and Configuration Tasks:
Super users can manage configurations, add business units, define new value lists, and assist with normal functional maintenance.

User Support:
They are a go-to resource for other end-users, helping them understand and use the system effectively.

Elevated Privileges:

They are assigned specific, elevated roles within the ERP system to carry out their responsibilities.
