We are seeking a hands-on
Cloud & Infrastructure Systems Administrator
to lead the setup and optimization of our client's hybrid IT environment. This role will focus on configuring Azure from the ground up, ensuring all systems are patched and secured, and helping guide the organization toward a more cloud-centric infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and manage Azure cloud environment, including AD sync and security configurations
Evaluate and patch network and hardware systems
Lead disaster recovery planning and implementation
Partner with leadership to establish appropriate Microsoft licensing
Address cybersecurity concerns and implement best practices
Support hybrid workforce (on-site and remote) with IT infrastructure needs
Assist in transitioning the IT environment toward a cloud-first strategy
Job Requirements:
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration
Proven experience configuring and managing Microsoft Azure environments
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD synchronization
Experience with patch management for both software and hardware systems
Familiarity with network evaluation and cybersecurity best practices
Hands-on experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
Understanding of Microsoft licensing models and compliance
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a distributed team
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+) are a plus
