Summary:
The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) seeks a
Senior Application Developer
with deep expertise as a
Technical Architecture Specialist
to assist with the
CLEAN Project . The resource will design, develop, and implement technical architecture for enterprise-level systems and work collaboratively with internal teams, ensuring strong application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and document technical architecture, including software, hardware, and system environments.
Coordinate technical design and development with Application and Test Teams.
Lead detailed technical design and code reviews.
Ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
Analyze and document technical requirements and impact analysis.
Plan and manage deployment schedules, resources, and risk management.
Develop technical programming standards and enforce their adoption.
Create test plans and acceptance criteria for technical components.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues across applications.
Perform integration of various architectures across multiple enterprise systems.
Maintain and enhance system documentation, policies, standards, and KPIs.
Drive continuous improvements for network, compute, and security operations.
Work closely with Executive Sponsors, Group Leads, and Functional Architects.
Lead knowledge-sharing and cross-team collaboration on technical architecture best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in the development and support of large, complex, mission-critical enterprise software systems.
Strong expertise in:
Solution Management Applications
Object-Oriented (OO) Concepts and Design Patterns
TFS (Team Foundation Server) build and deployment processes
Ability to independently troubleshoot, resolve complex technical issues, and mitigate risks.
Solid understanding of operational network, compute, and security systems.
Experience planning capacity needs for large-scale enterprise environments.
Expertise in creating and maintaining architectural documentation and system troubleshooting guides.
Strong ability to develop, measure, and report on KPIs.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Strong team-building, customer relations, and vendor management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Problem-solving, critical thinking, and strong organizational skills.
