Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Business Analyst
with a strong background in
SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
and
SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management SD)
to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to implement and optimize SAP solutions in the areas of sales, distribution, and supply chain management.
The role will involve gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, designing solutions, and supporting the implementation of SAP SD/SCM solutions. You will also provide support for troubleshooting, testing, training, and post-implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements in SAP SD/SCM processes.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions for SAP SD/SCM modules.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
Provide recommendations for optimizing existing business processes using SAP.
Solution Design and Configuration:
Assist in the design and configuration of SAP SD/SCM solutions based on business needs.
Support the configuration of sales order processing, pricing, delivery, billing, and other SD-related functionalities.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Support in system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and post-implementation validation for SAP SD/SCM solutions.
Ensure that all SAP solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Training and Documentation:
Develop and deliver training materials for end-users.
Create and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide second and third-line support for SAP SD/SCM issues and incidents.
Collaborate with the technical team to resolve system issues, bugs, or enhancements.
Project Management:
Participate in SAP SD/SCM project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Support project managers in tracking progress, risks, and issues.
Collaboration with IT and Business Teams:
Work closely with IT teams to ensure proper integration between SAP SD/SCM and other business systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align SAP solutions with business strategies and goals.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant with a focus on
SAP SD/SCM .
Proven experience in gathering business requirements, process mapping, and system implementation.
Experience with configuring SAP SD/SCM modules and working with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with SAP integration with other modules like MM (Materials Management), WM (Warehouse Management), or FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of SAP SD/SCM functionality, including order-to-cash processes, inventory management, and logistics.
Understanding of SAP configuration and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis techniques (e.g., SAP BW, SAP Fiori, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) for analysis and documentation.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications:
SAP Certification in SD or SCM is a plus.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA:
Familiarity with newer versions of SAP (S/4HANA) and understanding of its changes to the SD/SCM modules.
Project Management:
Experience with Agile methodology or project management certifications is a plus.
