Are you a hospitality professional who thrives in a guest‑focused, fast‑paced environment? We are seeking a Front of House Assistant Manager who will support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations, including restaurant set‑up and break‑down. Oversees day‑to‑day activities to ensure a smooth, efficient operation and an outstanding guest experience. Serves as a knowledgeable resource for guests by providing information about the resort and the surrounding area, while consistently upholding safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general database applications)
Strong understanding of ABC regulations
Previous food and beverage management experience
Must be at least 21
Preferred
Serve safe certification
Understanding of profit and loss statements
Understanding of labor reports
Beer, wine, and liquor knowledge
Typical Schedule
Days
Full availability required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Hours
Scheduling needs will vary based on business demands. Minimum scheduling requirement of 40 hours per week.
Core Responsibilities
Assist the general manager in upholding standards of customer service, ABC regulations, food quality and presentation, and daily operations of the restaurant
Assist general manager in maintaining company culture including training and development of new and existing employees and ensuring an effective feedback loop between management and employees
Maintain inventory control, including ordering of products as assigned by the general manager from distributors
Actively participate in problem-solving as it pertains to maintaining business flow
Involve supervisors in the process of implementation.
Maintain a culture of improvement and achievement through consistent measurement, analysis, and recognition
