We provide high-quality, customer-focused dewatering and fluid transfer solutions. With decades of expertise, our pump division delivers comprehensive solutions from design to on-site installation, system monitoring to dismantle and demobilization and manufactures over 50% of our products in-house.

Service Technician manages all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. They diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. They are responsible for the service and customer support during field visits and dispatches.

Essential Functions

Troubleshoots and diagnoses all types of equipment to ensure proper working condition

Performs routine equipment clean‑up and upkeep as well as safety review and pre‑delivery inspections

Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions and adjusts heavy equipment as required and completes all paperwork on assigned equipment

Participates in all training programs directed by Manager

Brings to the attention of the Manager any shop tools, equipment or vehicle that is not in serviceable condition or unsafe to use

Maintains tools in good working order per MSHA and OSHA regulations

Completes basic computer tasks including completing work orders, looking up parts, and communicating via email

Communicates with coworkers to ensure top quality equipment and customer expectations are exceeded

Ties workflow to schedule

Manages all on‑site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks

Diagnoses errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions

Produces timely and detailed service reports

Operates vehicle in a safe manner and uses field automation systems

Follows all company field procedures and protocols

Cooperates with technical team and shares information across the organization

Comprehends customer requirements and makes appropriate recommendations/briefings

Must be able and willing to help train and assist other technicians in need of assistance

Required Education and Experience

Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment

Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment

Must have own tools

Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules

Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

Work Environment

Work is primarily conducted in construction sites, equipment yards, and transportation routes

Regular exposure to heavy machinery and diesel‑powered equipment in operation

Frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind

Physically demanding environment with uneven terrain, dust, mud, and loud noise levels

Duties may involve shop‑based tasks and fieldwork including travel to remote job sites

Strict adherence to safety protocols required at all times

PPE such as steel‑toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection must be worn

Must be comfortable operating around large equipment, confined spaces, or elevated positions

Lifting heavy components and materials is often required

Flexibility and adaptability are essential due to rapidly changing job site conditions

Travel Required

Required to travel to various locations for training classes/seminars

Drive to various vendors to acquire parts for assigned repairs

Physical Demands

Requires a high level of physical stamina and mobility to perform duties in jobsite and yard environments

Frequent lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of tools, chains, tarps, and equipment weighing 50+ pounds

Regular bending, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and reaching

Prolonged standing and walking on uneven terrain

Climbing in and out of trucks, onto trailers, or equipment as required

Ability to work from various heights and maintain balance

Fine motor skills and manual dexterity required for controls and documentation

Must safely operate commercial vehicles and remain alert in hazardous environments

Occasional pushing, pulling, and positioning of heavy components
