Responsibilities
Provide emergency care to patients across a broad age range from newborns to geriatrics, with no OB cases included
Triage, assess, stabilize, and manage patients with acute presentations; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Administer medications, monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and elevate decisions as needed
Develop and implement individualized care plans; document clearly in the EMR to ensure patient safety and comfort
Communicate with patients' families, coordinate with ancillary services, and facilitate smooth transitions of care
Maintain infection control and standard precautions; demonstrate professionalism in a fast‑paced ER environment
Requirements
Active RN license required in New Hampshire or a Compact state at the time of submission
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Licensure verification: Nursys required for all active RN licenses
Education: valid RN education from an accredited program
Experience: ER experience preferred; pediatric experience encouraged; willingness to learn and be trained if pediatric exposure is limited
EMR experience: Cerner experience preferred but not required
RTO: RTO must be included at submission; cannot approve 4th of July weekend RTO
Ability to work in a high‑acuity hospital ER setting and participate in a 12‑hour shift schedule
