
Maintenance Technician Supervisor
The Technology House, LTD, Streetsboro, OH, United States
As a working maintenance supervisor for The Technology House, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure building, grounds, and machines by following a machine maintenance schedule, maintaining the inside and outside of the facility, and performing other essential duties assigned on an as-needed basis. This position will work between our two facilities in Streetsboro and Solon. This role will delegate the work of facility custodial personnel and oversee maintenance staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure all facility systems and equipment are in working order (i.e., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Maintain outside of buildings to ensure grounds are safe and in working order
Maintain inside of buildings to ensure safe and operational working areas
Schedule and perform routine inspections and maintenance in facilities, making repairs as needed
Conduct and document regular building inspections
Follow maintenance schedule while fulfilling ticket submissions, completing the necessary documentation (i.e., certifications, audit paperwork), and creating reports on maintenance-related occurrences
Train and supervise maintenance staff on maintenance procedures
Communicate with and train employees on safety procedures
Communicate products that need to be purchased for machines
Work with management to secure and negotiate repair contracts
Oversee work done by outside vendors and contractors
Collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facility needs
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED, advanced technical training preferred
3+ years of experience required
Sound computer literacy skills
Mechanical skills and acumen (knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other building systems a plus)
Ability to perform basic fixes on machines (i.e., CNC mills, lathes, and additive equipment)
Proficiency with repair tools and techniques
Professional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, and vendors
Time management, organization, and prioritization abilities
Keen attention to detail and quality control skills
Efficient problem‑solving skills
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
