Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture solutions including
data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-native platforms
Develop and document
current-state architecture diagrams, context diagrams, and data flow models
Define and design
target-state data architecture
aligned with enterprise data strategy
Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed technical data specifications
Design and maintain
data models, schemas, and integration frameworks
Oversee and optimize
ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data workflows
Architect solutions supporting high data volume, scalability, and performance
Ensure compliance with enterprise
information security and governance standards
Lead adoption of emerging technologies and modern data platforms
Provide technical mentorship to data engineers and analysts
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience designing and managing large-scale enterprise data architectures
Strong expertise in:
Data lakes and enterprise data warehouses
Complex cross-domain data modeling
Large-scale data integration across diverse systems
Extensive hands-on experience with:
AWS S3
Apache Iceberg
AWS cloud data services
Experience with
Snowflake
and
Databricks
is a strong plus
Deep understanding of enterprise data governance, compliance, and security standards
Proven ability to lead architecture initiatives and influence technical direction
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Must be able to work on-site in Richardson, TX
