Job Summary
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous service to guests and fellow team members.

Perform daily or scheduled preventative maintenance on gaming devices, including validator units, ticket printers, and card readers.

Follow machine entry and repair procedures to proactively identify or prevent equipment issues.

Maintain and repair electronic circuitry for all slot‑related equipment.

Safeguard all assigned assets during installation, builds, conversions, and reconfigurations.

Use approved electronic test equipment for diagnostics and repairs.

Diagnose faulty equipment and troubleshoot to the sub‑system level (e.g., hopper, comparator, MPU board).

Safely operate shop equipment including hand tools, welding tools, soldering equipment, and test devices.

Maintain accurate documentation including repair logs, shift logs, daily reports, and JMRs.

Comply with gaming regulations, compact requirements, and departmental SOPs.

Maintain predetermined stock levels of validators, ticket printers, and card readers.

Complete machine moves and assigned projects.

Interact professionally with other departments.

Assist with validator software upgrades as released by vendors.

Perform additional duties as needed to support operational success.

Additional Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

Ability to lift and carry equipment as required.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, technical environment.

Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and electronic testing devices.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to meet attendance standards and adhere to all regulatory and company policies.

What You Will Need

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree in electronics, trade school certification, or two years of related experience preferred.

One year of Slot Department experience strongly preferred.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Virginia Lottery Gaming License.
