We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Scheduler to join our Asbury Towers Retirement Community team!
The Scheduler maintains the schedule for the Nursing Department and also holds an active CNA/QMA license with the ability to help/fill-in on the floor as needed. The Scheduler will organize and maintain staffing needs in compliance with facility, state and federal regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
High school graduate or equivalent related work experience.
Valid and current CNA license for the state of IN.
Caring person with a desire to work with the frail and elderly.
Practical knowledge of medical terminology and record keeping preferred.
Ability to read and understand procedures used for work assignments.
Ability to maintain confidentiality related to residents’ medical condition.
Ability to prioritize duties and be detailed orientated.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to establish and maintain optimum rapport with staff, residents, family members and regulatory agencies.
Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, scheduling and documentation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains schedule for all nursing staff.
Ensures that staff schedule is posted timely and accurately.
Understands state and federal laws and regulations and facility policies regarding staffing needs.
Maintain a documented, organized system, as it relates to employee availability.
Ensure that all reports are completed within established time frames.
Answers telephone inquiries from staff regarding scheduling conflicts, concerns, etc.
Performs miscellaneous duties pertaining to staffing or CNA duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Interacts with staff and residents.
May be subjected to interruptions throughout the workday.
Exposure to blood, body tissue or fluids.
