What You Will Do as a Nursing Home Nurse Practitioner - APRN
Serve as a central provider in patient care by conducting comprehensive physical exams and reviewing detailed medical histories
Order and interpret diagnostic testing to support accurate medical decision‑making
Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations
Prescribe medications responsibly while developing individualized treatment plans
Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices to support long‑term wellness
Criteria
A master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program
An active Florida nurse practitioner license and national certification
