Office.
Salary
The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of
$59,000
and
$70,000
annually.
Final salary will be determined based on years of experience, licensure level, and relevant credentials.
Candidates possessing a LCSW or LCPC may be considered for a possible salary up to
$78,000 .
Essential Job Functions
Performs comprehensive, in-depth assessment and clinical formulation, development of accurate diagnosis and strength-based treatment plans for CCBHC services. Performs open access as assigned.
Provides individual/group therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services, adhering to CCBHC and MRO/Medicaid rehabilitation service models. Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions, advocacy, skill-building, and related services. Provides evidence-based treatment interventions per training and certifications.
Learns and utilizes agency and community resources.
Assesses community conditions affecting clients to identify resource gaps and problems.
Works with multidisciplinary professionals including psychiatrists, nurses, and community agencies to provide a continuum of coordinated care to meet the complex needs of clients.
Provides on-call or in-person crisis intervention services when necessary.
Recommends financial assistance for clients.
May serve on regional or agency-wide committees.
Meets agency expectations for quantity of direct service and maintains quality and fidelity to evidence-based practices.
Maintains timely and accurate client records and any necessary agency and CCBHC required reporting.
Participates in agency and site-based required meetings and trainings.
Works effectively with diverse staff and service population.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requires mobility to work with a community-based caseload.
Ability to maintain assigned community and home-based services.
Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Counseling or related field from an accredited college or university,
required.
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC),
required.
2+ years of experience working in the mental health field with clients across the lifespan,
preferred.
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC),
preferred.
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or experience working with clients experiencing substance use,
preferred.
IM+CANS certification,
preferred.
Additional Requirements
Satisfactorily pass all relevant screening and criminal background checks.
Physical Demands
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
