Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for dialysis patients, including ongoing assessment, care planning, and delivery of dialysis treatments per protocol.
Monitor hemodialysis sessions, vital signs, fluid balance, and laboratory values before and after dialysis; respond to urgent changes or adverse events.
Collaborate with nephrology team, dialysis technicians, and unit staff to coordinate patient care and maintain safety standards.
Administer medications as ordered and monitor for adverse reactions; ensure proper operation and troubleshooting of the Tablo dialysis system.
Document assessments, treatments, and patient education; maintain accurate charting and facilitate clear handoffs to the next care team.
Uphold infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance in all dialysis-related activities.
Requirements
Active RN license in the state of practice (California) required.
Tablo dialysis system experience is a must.
BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
Minimum 2 years of experience having worked in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Acute care facility experience preferred.
Profile submission requires RTO, Birthdate, and Social.
