Interim Accounts Receivable Analyst
Our client, a rapidly scaling technology company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to support core receivables operations during a period of rapid growth and process transformation.
This role is hybrid, at their office in San Francisco, CA. Remote candidates will be considered. This engagement has a duration of 3 months with the possibility to extend.
Responsibilities
Execute end?to?end collections activities across an assigned customer portfolio
Proactively engage customers to secure timely payment of outstanding invoices
Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on risk and exposure
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer billing and payment inquiries
Process and apply customer payments accurately across multiple channels
Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and billing discrepancies
Investigate and resolve billing disputes in coordination with internal teams
Prepare AR aging reports, collection metrics, and cash forecasting inputs
Support month?end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting
Identify trends and contribute insights to improve billing accuracy and collections efficiency
Requirements
3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related finance roles
Strong understanding of AR processes, including cash application and dispute resolution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer?service mindset
Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets
Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage high?volume workloads accurately
