You’ve probably come here from people you respect, but we are looking for individuals who are passionate about leading youth in a meaningful, faith-focused setting. The Summer 2026 Trip Leaders will help guide and support youth as they experience faith, service, and growth.
What do we look for?
A strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints and a life that consistently reflects that belief
Proven ability to inspire and help youth develop greater faith in Jesus Christ
Confidence in who you are and your ability to impact lives for good
Previous international experience (beyond a mission)
Experience working with youth and a strong desire to continue
Very successful academic and/or professional history
21 to 35 years of age by May 20, 2026 (the majority of our Trip Leaders are 23+)
Proven ability to stay composed while handling high‑stress situations
Demonstrated leadership skills
Clear, discernible capacity to love
Enthusiastic, organized, and dependable
Served a full‑time mission (recommended, not required)
Required
Attend Sorting Day March 6, 2026 (mandatory; in‑person if within 4 hours driving time from Salt Lake City, Zoom option if further)
Attend Trip Leader Training (TLT) May 7‑9, 2026 (100% in‑person; must attend; transportation responsibility is yours)
Able to commit to 45 hours of preparation during the year leading up to your trip
Able to commit to four consecutive weeks of service during Summer 2026
A current temple recommend
CPR and First Aid Certification
If you are currently serving as a missionary, you must be home by February 28, 2026
Applicants who meet these qualifications and requirements will be considered for the Trip Leader position for Summer 2026.
