Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests across various disciplinessuch as chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing strict protocols.
Evaluate test results for accuracy, identify issues, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
Assist with specimen collection as necessary and prepare samples ahead of testing.
Document all procedures diligently, mentor new staff or students, and help uphold the highest lab quality standards.
Ensure a tidy, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Required Certifications
ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within your first year of employment.
Maintain active certification throughout your tenure with us.
