The Role
We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to global tax operations, strategic planning, and complex international structures. You will play a key role in shaping our tax processes, supporting leadership, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This role offers global exposure across diverse tax regimes and operating entities, strategic involvement in tax planning and effective tax rate management, high visibility with senior finance leadership, and the opportunity to own processes and drive improvements.
What You'll Do
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provision processes, including deferred taxes, GILTI, and other international tax components
Analyze and reconcile global tax data, ensuring accuracy and completeness for external reporting
Review international filings (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865) prepared by external advisors
Prepare and document book-to-tax adjustments and supporting workpapers
Contribute to global effective tax rate (ETR) analysis and forecasting
Serve as a key point of contact for tax-related matters across internal teams and external advisors Participate in domestic and international tax planning initiatives
Research complex tax issues and prepare clear, well-supported technical memoranda
Assist with transfer pricing documentation and intercompany considerations
Support calculations related to foreign tax credits, previously taxed income (PTI), and foreign-source income
Review and assist with federal, state, local, and international tax filings, including income tax, sales/use tax, VAT/GST, franchise tax, and property tax
Prepare/Review other various tax filings, such as Sales and Use Tax, Franchise Tax, GST/VAT,
Prepare and Review various Property Tax, Commercial Rent Tax, local Tax returns as needed
Monitor evolving U.S. and international tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization
What You'll Bring
5+ years of experience in public accounting or in-house tax, with exposure to international tax
Strong foundation in tax provision and compliance (ASC 740 / FIN 48)
Working knowledge of U.S. international tax rules, including TCJA-related provisions
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to non-tax stakeholders
Experience with ERP systems and tax software.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred is a plus
Compensation
The rate for this position generally is $100,000 - $130,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
