Fabrication Technician

3:30 PM Start Date: ASAP Looking for a hands-on manufacturing role? Join us as a Fabrication Technician and make an impact every day. As a key team member, you'll support the fabrication, finishing, and assembly of metal vessels used in industrial settings. You'll work closely with colleagues to deliver quality products on time, gaining valuable skills along the way. What You'll Do: Assist with the fabrication and assembly of metal components and vessels to ensure they meet specifications. Perform sandblasting, cleaning, and painting using an automotive-style spray gun to prepare finished products. Support hydro pressure testing on completed items to verify quality and safety standards. Package and prepare finished products for shipment, ensuring proper handling and documentation. Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment accurately and safely. Follow schematics and production instructions to maintain precision in work. Conduct basic welding tasks, including FCAW and stick welding, to assist in assembly processes. Conduct quality inspections to uphold accuracy, consistency, and craftsmanship standards. What You'll Bring: Prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment. Basic welding skills; experience with FCAW and stick welding is advantageous. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics, instructions, and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
