We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder to join our team. This role involves both shop and field work, focusing on pipe fitting and structural fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fit-up and welding of carbon steel piping and structural assemblies
Weld using MIG, Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) processes
Layout, measure, cut, and assemble components to precise tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Ensure all welds meet project specifications and industry quality standards
Maintain a safe work environment in both shop and field settings
Work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a fitter/welder
Strong background in pipe fitting and structural steel fabrication
Proficiency in MIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding processes
Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate fit-ups independently
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
Ability to pass a weld test and fit-up evaluation
