Seattle Country Day School (SCDS) is an independent school that serves more than 400 gifted students, grades K–8, on a 2.4-acre campus on the north slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington.

Qualifications for the Position
At least a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred.
Academic or professional experience in gifted education, creative problem‑solving, and inquiry-based education is preferred.
Responsibilities
Cover anywhere needed, including implementing lesson plans, classroom management, and student supervision for recess, lunch, and other co‑curricular activities.
Participate in class outings and grade‑level trips, both domestic and international.
Attend faculty and department-level meetings, and provide support for all divisions and departments as needed.
This position is full‑time.
SCDS offers a very competitive salary and benefits package. Salary range is $69,000‑$128,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and long‑term disability, excellent retirement plan, and Section 125 plan.
