Federal Work Study Eligible Student Position
This position is for Federal Work Study eligible students. Please verify with Financial Aid whether you are eligible for Federal Work Study before applying. Candidates will be responsible for basic office duties as well as working with the public.
Filing, collating, shredding, opening and distributing mail, helping students on the computers, filling supplies, scanning of documents, and other general office work. Students should be comfortable helping the general public to submit FAFSA applications in our FAFSA lab. Training will be provided.
Must possess good communication skills, be computer literate, must type well, be detail oriented and dependable. Must be able to work in a high functioning, fast paced environment. Must be enrolled as a current student at Stark State College. Students should be comfortable helping the general public to submit FAFSA applications in our FAFSA lab. MUST be eligible for Federal Work Study.
Training will be provided.

SkillSurvey Reference, a cloud-based, data-driven solution allows us to access relevant feedback from references provided by our candidates. The chosen references receive job-specific surveys on at least 26 critical behaviors and skills. These behavioral competencies have been scientifically studied and have been shown to correlate with work outcomes.
Stark State College utilizes E-Verify to ensure compliance with applicable employment eligibility laws. E-Verify is an electronic system used to confirm the employment eligibility of new hires. This process will be conducted in accordance with I-9 verification and will be done promptly upon hire for all incoming employees. Please note: Candidates selected for employment must either reside in Ohio or be willing to relocate to Ohio.
