Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
LHH is partnering with clients in the Alpharetta area to identify experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialists for two immediate openings. These roles require hands-on expertise in high-volume AP environments, strong vendor relationship management, and comfort working within vendor portals and complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end, high-volume accounts payable processing across multiple entities or business units
Perform detailed and complex vendor reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, exceptions, and pricing variances
Manage vendor inquiries related to payments, remittance, and account status
Support month-end close activities, including accruals and reporting
Partner cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and finance teams
Ensure compliance with internal controls, approval workflows, and SOX requirements
Assist with process improvements, documentation, and mentoring of junior AP staff as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
4+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience with a strong focus on vendor reconciliations
Prior experience in healthcare and/or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Experience with Oracle Fusion and/or Sage Intacct highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
