
Accounts Payable Specialist

We are partnering with a great team on this Accounts Payable Specialist position with one of our marketing clients. This role will encompass full-cycle accounts payable including month-end support, accruals and multiple reconciliations. This position is a possible temp to hire for the ideal candidate. NetSuite and strong Excel experience are a huge plus! The position is hybrid and hiring immediately!
Key Responsibilities
Perform full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment runs
Review, code, and process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely
Prepare and record AP accruals and assist with month-end close
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain vendor master files, including new vendor setup and W-9 documentation
Assist with AP aging, audit support, and ad hoc reporting
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries
Support year-end processes, including W-2s and audit requests
Qualifications
Experience with NetSuite preferred
1+ year of accounts payable experience
Experience with accruals and month-end close support preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Compensation: $35 - $40/hr, depending on experience.
