Your responsibilities
Oversee hourly direct and/or indirect production associates in the Cooking Assembly departments to meet the production schedule and ensure that product conforms to required specifications
Coordinate daily performance metrics by scheduling materials, equipment, and personnel
Update daily GEMBA metrics on team board
Meet with value stream team to review GEMBA board at daily huddles
Present daily GEMBA reviews at team boards to management
Plan manufacturing throughput with Planning and Supervisors by reviewing committed schedules
Meet with off shift Team Leader at or near end of day to tie-in to make any course corrections
Provide daily, weekly and monthly status to Supervisor as appropriate by collecting and summarizing manufacturing data, updating S-CIP, P-CIP, SMC and A3 project reports
Assist internal and external customers with answers or information of a routine nature
Work with the team to determine daily job assignments for associates to meet performance targets
Assist Supervisor in planning for statement of work changes, emergent needs, and overtime requirements
Ensure employees follow safety regulations and work practices including using personal protective equipment
Serve as point of contact for employees to address work assignment needs
Understand and communicate information; including organizational goals, initiatives, and strategies
Facilitate communication between shifts, other value stream teams and other organizations
Report status of team activities against the program plan or schedule; including task accomplishment and escalating issues which cannot be resolved by the team
Participating in self-reviews, skill check reviews and work area audits
Assist in monitoring compliance in safety, QDAS, certified tools and materials, and monitored training
Identify and promote actions that will optimize the overall performance of the team
Ability to manage minor conflict resolution and seek assistance from Supervision and Human Resources for more complex situations
Participate in and assist Supervisors during promotion reviews and interview process of potential associates
Develop, mentor and coordinate training for associates
Assist in the preparation of "Operator Instructions"
Assist in the preparation of methods to assure work pieces conform to specifications
Assist in preparing production schedules and budgets
Perform process confirmations daily
Participate in problem-solving activities to resolve safety, productivity, quality concerns within a process
Understands technical aspects of assigned area, transfer and provide technical guidance on issues to associates
Ability to communicate, implement and maintain 5S standards
Understand and assist in the progressive disciplinary process in coordination with Supervision and Human Resources
Your profile
High-School Diploma
Required
Associate degree (Advanced Manufacturing or similar field)
Preferred
3-5 Years of Experience (Technical Manufacturing environment)
Required
0-2 Years of Experience (Leadership)
Required
Good technical knowledge of resistance welding, sheet metal working and industrial controls
Good knowledge of safety practices and procedures around manufacturing equipment
Must be able to operate all machine controls in Fabrication
Good trouble-shooting skills
Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).
12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).
