Material Handler
Warehouse Project Support
Shift: MondayFriday, 810 hours/day (occasional Saturdays)
Pay: $20-22
Hours: Full-time, project-based 7am-3:30pm M-F

Job Summary
The Material Handler supports installation and project teams by moving, staging, and organizing materials in a large, active warehouse environment. This role uses pallet jacks, hand tools, and basic documentation to keep materials flowing accurately and efficiently. It's a physical, hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced industrial settings.
High performers may be selected for travel-based project assignments after this engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Move, stage, and organize materials using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
Prepare inventory so installers and technicians can access materials quickly.
Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and basic documentation of material movements.
Use hand and power tools for simple assembly, adjustments, or repairs.
Support installation teams by locating, transporting, and positioning materials.
Assist with general industrial or construction-related tasks as needed.
Follow quality guidelines to ensure materials are stored and handled correctly.
Read and follow basic instructions, drawings, or simple blueprints.
Troubleshoot minor material handling or mechanical issues and escalate when needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Communicate clearly with installers, technicians, and supervisors.
Demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance to support daily operations.
Required Skills & Experience
Material handling experience in warehouse, industrial, construction, or production environments.
Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical labor for 810 hours per day.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic mechanical components.
Experience using hand and power tools for general labor or assembly tasks.
Ability to perform basic inventory tasks and documentation.
Ability to read simple drawings, blueprints, or work instructions.
Basic troubleshooting skills for material or mechanical issues.
Strong reliability, safety awareness, and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience on large-scale distribution, e-commerce, or automation projects.
Exposure to installation, maintenance, or industrial repair work.
Experience supporting construction or installation teams.
Ability to collaborate with technicians, advisors, and service providers.
Interest in being considered for future travel assignments.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
