Pool
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide quality nursing care to residents. This care will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement and regulations.
Location: Trillium Place
Current Openings: Pool positions (as needed) with a minimum shift requirement
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Membership on the Nurse Aide Registry, as monitored by the PA Department of Health. Certification must be active and in good standing.
One year of experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
Responsibilities Include:
Assists in activities of Daily Living needs of the resident - i.e., bathing, dressing, hair care, mouth care, shaving, toileting, nail care. Provides incontinence care and changes bed linens.
Assists with daily and ongoing activity programs for all residents.
Lifts, turns, and transfers residents, as scheduled or as needed. Properly uses mechanical lifts and require 2 staff for all transfers.
Observes and reports any change in resident's condition to LPN or RN using Stop and Watch in EMR. Completes and documents all areas of care in the EMR system. Weights/reweighs, BM records, restraint records (when applicable) input and output and meal percentages, ADLs, mood/behavior, toileting.
Provides care in a manner that maintains resident's dignity and state of well-being.
