As a Processing Operator I, you'll support the manufacturing team by operating equipment, maintaining product standards, and documenting processes meticulously. What You'll Do As a Processing Operator I, you will be responsible for: Operating and adjusting production machinery to perform changeovers, routine maintenance, and cleaning following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Guiding and coordinating team efforts to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Ensuring a smooth workflow by monitoring equipment and promptly reporting any issues to maintenance or supervisors. Conducting in-process quality checks and completing accurate documentation, including digital logs and deviation reports, with attention to detail. Collaborating with maintenance staff to troubleshoot equipment concerns and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Upholding safety and cleanliness standards to prevent accidents and promote a high-quality manufacturing environment.
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate will have: A high school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certifications in manufacturing are a plus. At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a regulated or GMP setting. Ability to understand how machinery works and recognize when adjustments or troubleshooting are needed. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, taking initiative while collaborating effectively with team members. Basic math skills, including weight calculations and unit conversions. Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and a commitment to quality and safety.
