Transportation Associate Coordination
This position is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring transportation activities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods. The Transportation Dispatcher plays a critical role in daily logistics operations, serving as the primary point of contact between drivers, carriers, and internal teams. This role requires close coordination to manage transportation schedules, address operational challenges, and proactively resolve transportation issues as they arise, ensuring continuity of service and adherence to company standards.
Responsibilities
Working shift: Sunday through Thursday 10pm
6am
Daily production of the Bid Board and the awarding of runs to Drivers.
Daily review of Driver DOT trip reports, editing and creating reports
Monitoring Drivers DOT Hours of Service and available hours.
Communicating with Drivers on Dispatch instructions and changes.
Coordinating with DC Leads appointments and trailer requirements.
Coordinating and instructing lease Drivers as needed.
Coordinating the Florida Doubles operation and Networking Hub with Traffic Drivers.
Daily communication with Drivers to review service needs and requirements.
Ensure all inbound and outbound loads are delivered on time.
Communicating with Warehouse Leads on load status.
Consistent and effective communication by email and telephone.
Tracking and maintaining trailer and tractor inventory.
All other duties as assigned by Resource
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $39,500 - $63,100.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
This position will require extensive computer experience, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or with others. Extensive verbal communication skills are needed to support daily coordination with Drivers and other Logistics Centers. Computer systems that will be utilized include Excel, DPS, and SAP system. General knowledge of both Department of Transportation regulations / Hours of Service and logistic or transportation experience is preferred.
Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service - preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience - preferred
DOT Drug/Alcohol Certification Skills preferred
Strong math and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
