This position provides an active work environment where attention to detail and steady hands make all the difference.
What You'll Do As a Grinder Operator, you will be responsible for: Operating hand grinders to smooth and finish small iron castings, ensuring accurate and consistent results. Inspecting finished components to verify they meet strict quality standards. Maintaining focus and precision during repetitive finishing tasks. Replacing worn grinding discs or tips to maintain optimal performance. Identifying and setting aside defective parts for rework or rejection. Following safety guidelines and workplace procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Maintaining productivity to meet daily production goals.
What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing or grinding experience is a plus but not requiredtraining will be provided. Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination. Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform physically active tasks comfortably. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Comfort working in a manufacturing environment.
