Entry Level Machine Operator

Responsibilities:
Operate and assist with punch machines, including loading materials and monitoring the process.
Support punch operations as a shop helper by preparing materials and tools as needed.
Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections on parts to verify quality and conformance to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand part requirements and inspection criteria.
Deburr parts to remove sharp edges and ensure a clean, finished product.
Package parts accurately and securely to prepare them for shipment or the next stage of production.
Assist with basic setup tasks on punch and turret equipment under guidance, as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to support a safe manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with team members and communicate issues with parts, equipment, or quality promptly.
Essential Skills:
At least 6+ months of basic machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with performing basic inspections on manufactured parts.
Comfort with general shop labor tasks in a production setting.
Strong attention to detail to identify defects or quality issues.
Pay & Shift:
First and second shift
Range $18 to $21 (Based of experience but entry level)
Job Type & Location:
This is a contract to hire position based out of Cambridge, MN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
