Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant working in a skilled nursing facility in Hendersonville, NC. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active North Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC required prior to or upon start of assignment.
Previous experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred. This includes experience with restorative programs, ADL-focused treatment, transfers, gait training, and fall prevention strategies.
Comfort with documentation in electronic medical record systems. Experience with Meditech, PointClickCare, or similar systems preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including nursing and therapy staff.
Current immunizations and TB testing per facility policy.

Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
Shift days: Monday through Friday.
