Travel PTA Opportunity

Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with details.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
Active Connecticut PTA license required to start the assignment.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or must be obtained prior to start.
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
Demonstrated competency with common skilled nursing tasks such as transfer training, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and documentation in an EMR system preferred.
Ability to follow care plans established by a supervising Physical Therapist and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
