what you'll do: as a press brake operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machines to bend and form metal components. your daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and specifications to ensure precise fabrication; selecting and installing tooling, dies, and machine settings tailored to each project; measuring and inspecting finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality; adjusting machine parameters to meet specifications; handling materials safely during loading and unloading processes; maintaining a clean and organized workspace; and following all safety protocols and production standards to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
what you'll bring: the ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience operating press brake and brake press machines. ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings accurately. forklift experience is preferred. proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts. reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative attitude. experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
