Production Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to manage and oversee the production area, ensuring all equipment operates at peak efficiency to meet company goals. This role involves supervising and coordinating tasks of subordinates, ensuring goods are produced and packaged accurately according to specifications.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate tasks of subordinates to ensure efficient production.
Ensure goods are produced and packaged in correct quantities according to agreed specifications.
Accurately record goods produced and problems encountered during shifts for smooth changeovers.
Perform mold changes with the Machine Operator.
Ensure the quality of the product meets company standards.
Ensure all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.
Promote safe work practices by ensuring compliance with company regulations.
Encourage team efficiency and collaboration.
Assess staff training needs and ensure execution of training programs.
Ensure adequate staffing to cover absenteeism, holidays, and normal operations.
Accurately record time and attendance of team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations.
Essential Skills
Experience in plastic injection molding.
Supervisory experience in the plastics industry.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Good process knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical engineering experience.
Computer literacy.
Ability to train personnel.
