POSITION SUMMARY: The Receptionist will be responsible for supporting safety and security measures as they apply to employees, visitors and company assets. The Receptionist will be responsible for promoting a welcoming, and professional environment to all visitors and employees. This individual will also support a variety of clerical activities and is expected to communicate with professional ease while always providing a high level of customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer telephone and forward parties to the appropriate personnel.
Greet all visitors.
Create and maintain general data.
Must type 50 WPM
Coordinate the shuttle schedule driver with employees.
Observe and report all unusual incidents or suspicious activity to Physical Security staff for investigation.
Verify all visitors checking into the lobby by visibly check ID's and confirm information in the Envoy system.
Sort and distribute mail/deliveries.
Coordinate concierge request with employees for food set-ups.
Issue temporary badges to employees with Envoy
Maintain Key Management log
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1-3 years of related experience of security and safety procedures pertaining to DOD required
5+ years of receptionist experience is required at this level
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient knowledge of Windows based computer and Microsoft desktop applications (Excel, Word, PP)
Able to work independently with little supervision
Strong skills in organizing and prioritizing
Professional dress attire
Courteous and alert
BSIS is a plus
Must be available to work overtime, as required
Must be able to speak/read/write English
Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
Bilingual a plus
May be required to work overtime
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Conventional, Collaborative
SALARY RANGE: Base Salary Range (Inglewood only): $20.00 - $21.00 / hr
