1st Shift
Description
* Assist in maintaining the wastewater systems and equipment performing preventive maintenance.
* Break down, repair and replace pumps.
* Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, Level transducers, etc.
* Repair equipment as necessary
* Wire motors for equipment, lights and switches.
* Replace belts and properly align motor and blower.
* Maintain maintenance logs.
* Maintain accurate wastewater treatment logs.
* Conduct basic lab analyses and perform simple calculations.
Requirements
* Wastewater treatment system operations experience.
* Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred..
* Electrical wiring experience prefered.
* Welding experience preferred.
* Resume and Certifications Required
Physical Requirements
* Work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
* Stand 8+ hours throughout work day.
* Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
* Regularly lift 50+ lbs. to include moving, lifting, and pushing machinery.
* Regularly climb up and down ladders.
* Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. xawqmyg
