Job Title
1st Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk $21/hr
Job Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist supports daily warehouse and manufacturing operations by preparing outbound shipments, receiving and organizing inbound inventory, and supplying materials to production. This role requires hands‑on warehouse experience, accuracy in documentation, and comfort using computers, ERP systems, and shipping software in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, package, and ship finished products and pallets according to work orders and shipping requirements
Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
Transport materials from warehouse storage to machine operators to support production flow
Safely move materials using pallet jacks and, where required, forklifts
Perform routine inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
Package products by layer packing or weighing shipments as required
Complete all required shipping, receiving, and work‑order documentation accurately and on time
Process shipments using ERP systems and shipping software, including LTL and UPS/WorldShip
Utilize RF scanners for picking, inventory tracking, and material handling
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Follow all warehouse safety protocols and operational procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of shipping and/or receiving experience
At least 1 year of experience using ERP systems and UPS or WorldShip for shipping
Comfortable with daily computer use, including data entry and documentation
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting
Order picking experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
Inventory management experience including counting and documentation
Warehouse packing experience for outbound shipments
Material handling experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
Ability to safely operate pallet jacks; forklift experience where required
Experience using RF scanners for inventory and material tracking
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EDEN PRAIRIE, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
