Private Chef (Full-Time) Division: Private Service / Culinary Ref ID: R4289540417 Location: Kings Point, NY 11024 (Primary) | Hamptons, NY (Summer) | Miami, FL (Occasional Travel) Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and entertaining Travel: • Hamptons: Approximately 5 weeks during the summer • Miami: Approximately 5–6 weeks annually Position Overview A private family in Kings Point, NY is seeking an experienced and highly creative Private Chef to provide full-time culinary support. This role is primarily based in Kings Point, with seasonal travel to the Hamptons and occasional travel to Miami. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary identity rooted in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, complemented by Asian fusion influences, and a passion for ingredient-driven, visually refined cooking. The chef must be able to deliver both elevated everyday meals and restaurant-quality dining experiences for entertaining. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who thrives in a private household setting and can seamlessly transition between relaxed, health-conscious meals and formal plated service. Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and execute daily meals for the family, focusing on fresh, seasonal, and flavor-forward cuisine • Develop menus that reflect Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Asian-inspired influences • Prepare a variety of dishes including crudo-style fish and meat, vibrant salads, grilled items, and composed plates • Utilize high-quality ingredients such as fresh herbs, citrus, olive oils, seafood, and premium meats • Incorporate bold flavors and textures using spices such as harissa, za’atar, sumac, chili, and Asian elements like soy, ginger, sesame, and chili oil • Maintain a balance of simplicity and refinement in daily cooking • Execute elevated, plated meals for formal dining and entertaining • Create cohesive, restaurant-quality dining experiences for guests • Manage outdoor grilling and cooking for events and gatherings • Adapt menus seasonally, particularly during summer months to reflect a “beach club” style Mediterranean cuisine inspired by Saint-Tropez and St. Barts • Oversee all kitchen operations including sourcing, grocery shopping, and inventory management • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen at all times • Accommodate dietary preferences and demonstrate basic understanding of kosher guidelines when required • Travel with the family as needed and adapt to multiple kitchen environments Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Private Chef or in high-end culinary environments (luxury hospitality, restaurants, yachts, or beach clubs) • Strong background in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, with exposure to Asian fusion techniques • Excellent plating and presentation skills with an eye for detail • Experience with both casual family meals and formal entertaining • Strong grilling skills and comfort with outdoor cooking • Knowledge of kosher dietary practices preferred • Highly organized, self-sufficient, and adaptable • Professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor • Strong references from previous employers • Valid U.S. work authorization • Driver’s License SSIN456
