Hanksters Motorsports is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Writer / Advisor to join our team in Janesville, WI. In this role, you will be the key point of contact between our customers and the service department, ensuring clear communication and a seamless service experience. Your excellent organizational and interpersonal skills will help us maintain our reputation for outstanding customer service and efficient service operations.
Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their service needs, concerns, and complaints.
Document and communicate service requests and vehicle issues accurately to the service technicians.
Provide customers with cost estimates, service details, and timeframes.
Coordinate with parts and service departments to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
Maintain detailed records of all service orders and customer interactions.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage service specials / packages to create customer loyalty.
Identify opportunities and recommend additional services or repairs that enhance equipment performance.
Educate customers about maintenance schedules, extended service plans, and accessory options.
Maintain a clean and organized service desk area.
Comply with all safety and environmental regulations within the service department.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in powersports, automotive, marine, or similar industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience / knowledge with powersports equipment and maintenance practices.
Familiarity with service management software and tools

Competitive salary ranging from $45,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year.
