Electrical Engineer

We are partnering with our client to hire an Electrical Engineer for the Cleveland, OH location. The successful candidate will have experience with motor and/or generator design and /or repair. This is a hands on, technical role and a great opportunity to join a stable organization!
Full Time/Direct Hire
Location: Cleveland, OH, onsite
$100K - $130K

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical technical support for coil manufacturing and traction motor repair
Reverse engineer motor/generator coil designs and insulation systems
Conduct RCFA and develop engineered repair solutions
Develop technician training curriculum and work instructions
Supervise in-process and final acceptance testing
Ensure compliance with IEEE/NEMA/IEC standards and IPS specs
Support Cleveland sales team with technical consulting and customer visits
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering (required)
3+ years' experience with electric motor/generator design, repair, and troubleshooting
Experience with RCFA, FMEA, diagnostics, and motor/generator testing
Strong written/verbal communication and MS Office proficiency
