
Wood Processing Technician

Wood Processing Tech 1st Shift 7am-3:30 pm
The position of the Wood Process Tech is responsible for being the technical expert in the Wood Processing area of Zenith Home Corp. This position is to include all troubleshooting of the Process conditions and Mechanical/Electrical issues to identify the componentry and/or areas, which are causing quality nonconformities and/or process delays. This position will also be responsible Preventative Maintenance of the equipment to ensure proper running conditions. Below is a list of the critical tasks of the position.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks associated with equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve all production/ quality issues
Perform machine calibrations
Monitor machine performance and identify components to be replaced
Submit and complete maintenance work orders
Perform training for new operators
Perform Quality Control Checks
Identify opportunities for equipment performance improvements
Operate Laminator and understand the processes involved in the application of pre-glued paper
Operate Panel saws and understand the operation for troubleshooting assistance
Operate Edgebanding cells and troubleshoot the processes for maximum run speed.
Setup and operate Techno multi-spindle drilling and boring machine cells.
Set-up and operate CNC routers
Set-up and operate foiling equipment
