Overview
A growing real estate investment and development firm is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to manage commercial real estate transactions from initiation through closing. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination across internal teams and external partners, ensuring deals move forward on time and with precision. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and brings solutions rather than problems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and loan transactions
Track critical dates, deadlines, and deliverables across all active deals to ensure timely closings
Coordinate with internal Development, Property Management, and Accounting teams throughout the transaction lifecycle
Liaise with escrow officers, lenders, legal teams, title companies, and external partners
Review and organize transaction documents, including title reports and loan documentation
Proactively identify deal issues and present solutions to keep transactions on track
Support process improvement initiatives, including SOP creation and workflow optimization
Assist with operational and administrative support during slower deal cycles
Requirements
5+ years of experience in real estate transactions
Commercial real estate experience required
Strong understanding of the full transaction lifecycle including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter who can operate independently and take ownership of their work
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
Ideal Candidate
Background in commercial escrow or from within a real estate investment or development firm
Understands how deals are structured and what it takes to keep all parties aligned
Type A, detail-oriented, and highly organized
Solutions-oriented, brings ideas and next steps, not just problems
Collaborative but not passive, able to take ownership without being pushed
Adaptable and open to feedback
Candidates with residential-only escrow experience will not be considered
