About the Role
The role involves performing mechanical work on equipment at compressor, pipeline, storage, gathering, and midstream facilities in the Pawnee area.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various locations across South Texas including, but not limited to:
Internal combustion, natural gas-powered engines and electrical motors; and
Compressors, pumps, generators, valves, electrical equipment, amine, and dehy equipment.
Diagnose, service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical equipment.
Conduct performance analyses, including assisting with emissions testing operations.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
Assist with startup, shutdowns, and load adjustments.
Ability to work on a rotational call out schedule for unplanned maintenance on equipment.
Order and/or secure parts and supplies.
Maintain, prepare and/or interpret reports and/or records including, but not limited to:
Worklogs and service orders;
Inspection reports;
Engine/equipment maintenance and repair records;
Pressure readings;
Material and supply orders; and
Engine and compressor oil analysis reports.
Follow company HSE policies and procedures.
Comply with PHMSA and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of mechanical experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
Required Skills
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Experience in use and function of hand and power tools applicable to perform job functions.
Ability to read P&IDs, compressor performance runs, and technical manuals.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Waukesha VHP Series, Caterpillar (G3300, G3400, G3500 series), Cummins KTA19 engines.
Familiarity with Ariel Compressor frames and screw compressors.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work performed in outdoor industrial environments under various weather conditions and around high-pressure systems. Must be able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces or at heights. Rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call duty required for continuous operations. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to company safety and drug/alcohol policies.
