Role Summary
We are seeking a Machine Technician with strong experience in softgoods prototype fabrication and manufacturing support. This role focuses on machine setup, troubleshooting, and supporting prototype-to-production scaling.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and configure machines based on tooling and CAD inputs
Execute builds with prototype and tooling teams
Troubleshoot machine issues impacting quality and cycle time
Support scaling from prototype to production readiness
Provide feedback on process optimization and manufacturability
Required Skills & Experience
8–10 years of experience in manufacturing / machine technician roles
Hands-on experience in softgoods (textiles, silicone, leather, adhesives)
Strong knowledge of cut & sew processes and stitching techniques
Experience with bonding, lamination, die cutting, and heat forming
Ability to read engineering drawings and patterns
Familiarity with AutoCAD and manufacturing engineering support
Preferred Skills
Surface finishing and fabric manipulation experience
Experience with microfiber handling and printing techniques
