Job Summary
We are seeking a
Machine Technician
with hands-on experience in
softgoods fabrication and equipment setup . The role involves supporting prototype builds, machine configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and configure machines based on
tooling and CAD inputs
Execute prototype builds in collaboration with engineering teams
Tune machines for
materials, thickness, and construction methods
Troubleshoot equipment issues affecting quality and cycle time
Support scaling from
prototype to production readiness
Provide input on
process optimization and manufacturability
Required Skills
Hands-on experience in
softgoods fabrication
(textiles, silicone, leather, synthetics)
Strong knowledge of
cut-and-sew processes
(stitching, seams, thread, tension)
Experience with
bonding, die cutting, lamination, heat forming, finishing
Ability to read
engineering drawings and patterns
Familiarity with
surface finishing and fabric handling
Preferred Skills
Experience with
AutoCAD or similar tools
Background in
manufacturing engineering support
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
